For our business and corporate customers, we are pleased to offer ProspaPay as an interest free way to book a boat for your business event, and enable you to spread the repayment over time to fit in with your business cash flow. Learn more about ProspaPay here.
Can I do an inspection of the boat?

Wharves in Sydney CBD need to be booked in advance, so please tell us your preferences as early as possible.
On the day of your booking
How long do we have to board the boat?
15 minutes is the allocated timeframe for pick-up and drop-off for most wharves in Sydney Harbour.
Can we play our own music?
Absolutely! Most boats have bluetooth and AUX style connections for smartphones and other devices. Talk with our friendly team today if you are after a bigger sound system and music is important to you.
Are we allowed to swim?
With prior request, most boats will find a perfect swimming location for you. Please let our friendly team know if watersports such as paddle boarding and swimming is something you're interested in.
What if the weather is bad?
If boating conditions are unsafe as determined by the charter boat operator and Flotespace, we will offer a 12-month voucher equal to the value of your charter which you can use to reschedule your charter, subject to availability. Please contact us if you would like further information.
Will I get seasick?
Sydney Harbour and other sheltered waters are generally smooth waterways and only encounter swell when crossing the heads or heading out to sea.
Most boats will have seasickness tablets available, but it is highly recommended to purchase your own prior to the cruise in order for them to be effective. Follow the manufacturers guidelines and as always ask for advice from our friendly team if unsure.
Do we need to wear lifejackets?
All boats will be equipped with adults and child lifejackets. All of our charter boats over 12m long, do not require you to wear a lifejacket. If you have young children who cannot swim, it is highly recommended and advised.
Will there be a first aid kit on board?
All our boats are legally required to carry a First Aid Kit in case of an emergency. Defibrillators and any other bigger medical devices may vary from boat to boat. If you require any particular medical supplies, please bring this with you on the day of the charter and don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
Is the boat crew trained to assist in case of an emergency?
If there are any emergencies on the day, the captain and crew on board every vessel are certified and can conduct first aid processes.
What is the Flotespace cancellation policy?
Bookings in Australia
Flotespace does not offer refunds should you wish to cancel your boat experience. If boating conditions are unsafe as determined by the charter boat operator and Flotespace, we will offer you a 12 month voucher equal to the value of your charter which you can use to reschedule your experience, subject to availability. Bookings in the UK
Our UK cancellation policy that is part of our standard rental agreement is for at least 7 days notice to cancel without incurring a cancellation fee. Find out more about our UK cancellation policy here. We understand that things happen and sometimes plans have to change, but we need to consider the impact on our boat owners if they are given short notice of a cancellation.
