1 About this Policy

1.1 The Cancellation Policy sets out the result of Booking cancellations or changes to a booking made by the Renter or the Host. Both Hosts and Renters agree that the result for cancellations is set out as follows:

1.2 IF THE HOST CANCELS MORE THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE CHECK-IN:

(1) Guests will receive a full refund of the Total Cost and Renter Booking Fee.

1.3 IF THE HOST CANCELS LESS THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE CHECK-IN:

(1) Guests will receive a full refund of the Total Cost and Renter Booking Fee.

1.4 IF THE RENTER CANCELS MORE THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE CHECK-IN:

(1) Renter will receive 50% refund of the Total Cost; and a 50% refund of the Renter Booking Fee.

1.5 IF THE RENTER CANCELS 7 DAYS OR LESS BEFORE CHECK-IN:

(1) No refund of the Total Cost and no refund of the Renter Booking Fee.

1.6 IF THE RENTER CANCELS DUE TO A QUALITY ISSUE:

(1) Refer to Part (i) of the Quality Issues, Damage to Boat Policy regarding Total Cost

(2) Flotespace may at its discretion apply any of the penalties set out in Part (i) of the Quality Issues, Damage to Boat Policy.

2 Changes to Bookings by Renter

2.1 If a Renter wants to change their booking, they will need to contact the Host directly and outline/discuss such changes. Renters should be aware that as they have already agreed and accepted terms with the Host in respect of the booking, the Host is therefore not obliged to agree to the changes specified and if they do agree, they are entitled to (at their discretion) charge Renters additional charges for any changes made.
